Dylan Raymond Takes the Stage with Lee Brice at the Lake County Fair
There’s something special about getting to play a show back in your home state.
Dylan Raymond recently performed with Lee Brice at the Lake County Fair in Crown Point as part of Hometown Jams. For the Terre Haute native and Nashville country artist, it was a chance to bring the music back to Indiana and take the stage in front of an incredible crowd.
Back on Stage in Indiana
The Lake County Fair has been a summer tradition in Crown Point for generations, and this year Hometown Jams brought live country music to the fair with Lee Brice, Dylan Raymond and more.
For Dylan, getting back on stage in Indiana is always special. He has spent the past several years playing shows across the country, but there is something different about looking out into a crowd in the state where it all started.
From longtime listeners to people hearing Dylan's music for the first time, the Crown Point crowd brought the energy all night.
Sharing the Stage with Lee Brice
Getting the opportunity to perform alongside Lee Brice was another memorable stop on Dylan's journey.
Brice has been behind some of country music's most recognizable songs, including “Rumor,” “Hard to Love,” “One of Them Girls” and “I Hope You're Happy Now.”
“Getting to share the stage with Lee Brice was one of those moments you don’t take for granted. I’ve always respected the career he’s built and the songs he’s put out, so getting to be part of that show, especially back in Indiana, was pretty special.” Raymond said.
Over the years, Dylan has had the opportunity to perform with artists including Russell Dickerson, Gabby Barrett, Jake Owen, Dylan Scott, Chris Janson and others. Adding a show with Lee Brice to that list made an already special return to Indiana even better.
From Terre Haute to Nashville
Dylan's story started in Terre Haute, Indiana, long before making the move to Nashville to pursue country music.
Since then, the road has taken him to stages across the country, with more than 250 shows played over the past two years. Through all the miles, new cities and new faces, Indiana will always be where the story started.
